What happens when the trading cycle ends?
Evaluation Phase 1 cycle ends with no profit
The account will be breached and the trader will need to pay a reset fee to reset their account to continue trading again.
Evaluation P1 cycle ends with profit but not reaching target
If a trader reaches the profit target, they move to Phase 2. If the profit made is less than the profit target, the trader may get a free retake (if minimum trading days are completed).
ZeroPoint Funded Account not in profit at cycle end
The cycle may not end; an additional period may be added to the trading cycle, and this extension may continue until the trader's account is in profit at the end of a cycle. When an account ends a trading cycle in a negative balance, the next trading cycle may begin with the same negative balance carried over. If an account incurs a loss but recovers before the cycle's end, the cycle proceeds normally. For accounts that achieve profitability and meet the Performance Reward criteria by the end of the cycle, the next cycle transitions to the scheduled frequency (e.g. biweekly for ZP 2-Step, 5 days for ZP 1-Step).
ZeroPoint Funded Account in profit at cycle end
The account is reset to its initial balance for the next trading cycle. The trader is eligible for the Performance Reward and can request it directly from their dashboard.
Running trades at cycle end
If an account ends the cycle in profit, all trades may be closed, the balance reset to the initial amount, and the trader is eligible to withdraw the profit. If the cycle ends in a negative balance with running trades, all trades may be closed automatically and the cycle extended with the negative balance. Check your product rules and dashboard for exact behavior.
Note
If you exceed the Daily Loss Limit or Maximum Loss Limit, your account will not continue into the next trading cycle. Exact rules vary by product; see your dashboard and terms.
